One of my all time favorite memories from childhood is going to week-long sleep away camp each summer at Camp Wolochee on Lake Crescent near Port Angeles, Washington. I looked forward to it ALL.YEAR.LONG.
And one part of summer camp that I just loved was sending and receiving camp mail. I’d usually convince my mom to take me shopping for camp stationery before each trip. Then I would pack my prized box of camp stationery, stamps, stickers, and envelopes for the getaway and plan out who I was going to send notes to.
