Watercolor Herbs Workshop
August 24 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Friday, August 24th
$65 per person
Herbs are such interesting painting subjects. Simple and beautiful, they also hold healing and medicinal qualities as well. Watercolor is an extremely forgiving medium, great for both beginners and intermediate skill levels. Come join local artist Brianna Showalter to learn some tips, techniques and tricks to capture herbs using watercolor paints. Simple instructions, a fun atmosphere and lots of inspiration will result in a set of gorgeous notecards featuring your favorite herbs. Perfect for sending to loved ones, framing for home decor, or simply propping on the kitchen windowsill.
This is a great class for beginning painters, as we will cover basic techniques and brush handling. This class will also be a great “continuation” class for anyone who has taken Brianna’s Watercolor Florals or Succulents class or has previous watercolor experience, as we will be focusing more on detailed work and color mixing. All supplies are provided to share or you are welcome to bring your own. You will take your notecards home (supplies will stay.)
Light sips and snacks will be served!
