There are so many creative ways these days to ask your girls to be a part of your wedding party (umm, seriously…read this post.) I’m particularly a fan, though, of the good old-fashioned hand-written note. One written on a beautiful card from the heart that your bridesmaids and maid of honor can keep as a memory of the occasion.
We’ve started collecting “Will You Be My Bridesmaid?” cards and “Will You Be My Maid of Honor?” cards in the shop, along with flower girl cards and other wedding party cards. Below is a collection of my favorites. Click on any image for more info.

Coming to the shop this week are three new prints we’re super duper excited about!! They are letterpress maps of Manhattan, Los Angeles, and Seattle.
Each print has been carefully researched, designed and then letterpressed by hand with black ink on beautiful thick white paper by our friend, and fellow Pacific Northwesterner Archie Archibald of Archie’s Press. (Note – the Seattle print also comes in blue ink and red ink!)
Manhattan holds a special place in my heart as I spent over a month there one summer working for Scarlett Johansson as her assistant, and it is one I will never forget! And Los Angeles… well, I lived the majority of my adult life there and it will always be my second home. (And I think I lived in about 20 of the circles on this map!)
And I just love this video of Archie’s and his process. So much love and energy go into letterpress. Enjoy!
